 I wanted to give you an update on what been going on here at CHR. So lets gossip!

The Florida sunshine in 2021 wasn't just a return to the ocean breeze and tropical warmth for me. It was a yearning for a fresh start. But that yearning paled in comparison to the news I received in 2023. My dad, a fighter like me, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Doctors gave him a grim prognosis – months, maybe a year with aggressive treatment.

Passion fruit oil, also known as maracuja oil, is a lightweight and fast-absorbing oil that offers numerous benefits for the skin. ¹ Rich in essential fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid, it deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin, improving its overall elasticity and suppleness. ¹

Growing up in Hawaii, we truly embraced the spirit of "living aloha" by turning to the bountiful gifts of our natural environment. The kukui nut tree, with its silvery-green foliage, was a cornerstone of our lives. We learned from our elders about its many uses – from the oil extracted from its nuts for soothing sunburns and dry skin, to the nuts themselves, roasted and enjoyed as a tasty snack. The kukui tree wasn't just a plant; it was a symbol of our connection to the land and a reminder of the wisdom passed down through generations.
